 Pastor Merritt Hole
Dr. Hole is our Senior Pastor, serving in that capacity since February 1992. A graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Hole practiced as a veterinarian in New York and Pennsylvania. In 1975 he entered Baptist Bible School of Theology (now Baptist Bible Seminary) in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, receiving the Master of Divinity degree. He later attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, where he earned a Doctor of Ministry degree. He served as a youth pastor in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, and later had senior pastorates in Ames, New York, and Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, before coming to Maranatha. He is committed to expository preaching, moving verse by verse through the books of the Bible. He is also committed to growing Maranatha’s worldwide missionary outreach. Believing that prayer is the key to service for the Lord, he is seeking to expand that ministry at MBC. Pastor Hole is married to Sharon for over thirty years, and they have two children Charis and Matthew. The Holes live in West Lawn with their two Golden Retrievers. |
 Pastor Timothy M. Harney
Pastor Harney is a graduate of Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wisconsin. He graduated with a double major in Bible and Elementary Education. Prior to coming to Maranatha, he was teaching sixth grade in Easley Christian School in Easley, South Carolina. While there he served as both a soccer coach and basketball coach. He has served in camp ministry, ministering in camps in Indiana and Hawaii.
Pastor Harney and his wife, Heidi have been married two years. They will reside in Womelsdorf. |
