  • Sunday Bible School

Each week the teens are taught what the Bible says verse by verse. We have done studies on books of the Bible, as well as certain topical studies.

  • Wednesday Night Youth Meeting

Each Wednesday we meet together for a time of Bible Study and prayer. We study what the Bible has to say about issues like friends, dating, and entertainment.

  • Activities

Once a month we meet together for an opportunity to enjoy Christian fellowship and have fun.

  • Afterglows

On the first Sunday evening of every month, following the evening service, the Youth Group has a special time of food, games, and fellowship. These are often held in the homes of church families.

  • Nursing Home Ministry

Every 5th Sunday afternoon, the teens go over to a local nursing/rehabilitation home to do a church service. Here the teens have the opportunity to share testimonies, play the hand chimes, sing special music, and minister through the puppets.

  • Puppet & Hand Chime Ministry

The teenagers have the privilege to use puppets and hand chimes to minister in Youth Services, during VBS, and at the nursing home. We practice on Wednesday evenings.

  • Youth Services

Every 5th Sunday evening service is given to the Youth Group. The teens have the opportunity to do puppets, play or sing special music, accompany the hymns, be ushers, and even give testimonies.

TEENS

“Ever Trusting Christ” is the desire of the youth group of Maranatha Baptist Church. We want to know Him more and trust Him more. The youth staff is dedicated to assisting parents by teaching Bible truth that instills confidence in the character of God. It is also the desire of the youth staff to see teenagers turning to Christ and fulfilling their God-given purpose of bringing Him glory in all things (1 Corinthians 10:31; 1 Peter 2:9).
